One of my best friends is from Kainaliu, Kona. In high school, we used to surf Kona side with his dad. We had an annual beach camping trip that we would do with his 'ohana. We would stay down on the sand for a week, surfing, cruising, hiking, picking 'opihi, and trying to catch 'a'ama crabs on the rocks.
