Moku o Keawe or "the Island of Keawe" was one of the original names of Hawai'i island (aka Big Island) to honor Chief Keaweʻīkekahialiʻiokamoku, the great-grandfather of Kamehameha I, who ruled Big Island during a period of peace and prosperity. Growing up, I've alway liked this place name for my home island, so I decided to put it together with the Big Island Wave graphic and our tag like "Mai Hilo a i ka Honua" from Hilo to the world! Let's get it!
