The Inspiration:

I love this light pink, it reminds me of a Hawaiian quilt my mom made for me back in 1994. The Brown outlines add to the color of the pink. The quilt got used and abused and the brown also reminds me of this tattered old quilt. Funny story, I still have the quilt, it was the blanket I took with me when I moved to California in 2007, it has been up here ever since.
